It was a nice day
so I though we would get together with Tara ’s
kids and take them to the Alpine Splash pad. We had never gone before and it
was right down the street from their house, so we picked them up and headed out
for some splash pad fun. It is great
because Ashlyn and Paige are the same ages as Chloe and Abby. The girls had a
fun time playing together.

June 13th, 2014- Cinderella
With our pass of all passes, we
were able to get free tickets to go see Cinderella at the Scera outdoor
theater. It was cute and the songs were
fun, but the girls were wondering why it wasn't like Disney’s Cinderella. However, I did catch the girls singing the
songs around the house a few weeks after we saw it. Aaron was a trooper and didn't complain too
much about being there ;).
June 6th, 2014- National Doughnut Day
Did you know that
there is a National Doughnut Day? Well
there is and Krispy Kreme gives out a free doughnut to everyone that comes in
on that day. Not being one to pass up free doughnuts, we called the Cummings
and met them for doughnuts. The line was
super long but we didn’t mind waiting, especially when we got to the part where
we could watch the doughnuts being made.
June 3rd, 2014- Chloe's surgery
For a couple of years,
Chloe’s dentist told us that she was going to need a little surgery called a frenectomy. By doing this, it
makes it so when her adult teeth come in there wont be such a big gap. She was a trooper and did an awesome job
during the procedure. Granted the
laughing gas helped =). Here’s hoping it
works!

May 22, 2014- Awards Assembly
Chloe got a special award today in school. It was for academic achievement and she was the only one in her class that got it. She got to go up in front of the whole school during an assembly to receive it and have everyone clap for her. I am so proud of her and for what a good student she is.
After the assembly, we headed up to Thanksgiving point to
check out the new Natural
Curiosity Museum . It was amazing! There are so many things for
the kids to explore, climb, build, etc.
The only downside of the day was that this was the last time we got to
hang out with our best buds because they were moving to Arizona later on that week. We will miss them, but plan to stay in touch.

May 20th, 2014- Memorial Day
May 16th, 2014- School Carnival
At the end of each school year, Chloe’s school
puts on a carnival. This was our first year attending and we all had a great
time. There was a train ride, face painting, hair spraying, bouncy houses and
tons of games to play. It was also fun
because the girls were able to see their friends there as well as grandma and
grandpa.
May 3rd, 2014- Karen's Wedding
I was able to attend my cousin Karen’s wedding at the Sacramento temple. It was a beautiful day and she was a
beautiful bride. I always love going to sealing’s
and listening to what the sealer has to say to the couple because it is always
different. I also love listening to the covenants
that they are making because it reminds me that I made the same ones to
Aaron. I am so grateful for temples and
that because of them we can be sealed as families for all eternity.
May 2, 2014- Fairy tale Town
Since my parents had an empty back seat and it was so close
to the end of the school year, we decided to take a road trip to California for my
cousins wedding. We had one free day
before all the festivities happened and I wanted to take the girls to Fairy Tale
Town . It was one of my favorite places as a kid and
I knew the girls would love it. We also
convinced my cousin Nichole and her cute family to come with us.
It was a perfect day and the girls loved every minute of it. I couldn’t tell you what their favorite part of the park was because they had a blast on everything!

April 19th 2014- Easter Egg Hunt with Grandpa Ron
There was a local
Easter egg hunt going on the Saturday before Easter so we thought we would
check it out. We invited my Dad to come
with us as well cause we always love having grandparents around. To be
perfectly honest, the real reason we went was because in some of the eggs were
money and there was an adult egg hunt with one egg containing up to $500. We
didn’t get any big jackpots, but the kids were still happy with just getting
candy.
