How did this happen?
Well, this is the reason I have been so behind on our blog lately. I basically felt miserable for most of September and am still not over the morning sickness 100% yet, but I'm getting there.
This pregnancy came as a total shock to us! As many of you know, in order for me to get pregnant, I have to go on Clomid which is a fertility pill. However, for this new one, my body thought otherwise. When I called Aaron to confirm what we had been thinking he said "how did this happen?" I then tried to explain the birds and the bee's to him....j/k. I told him I had no idea how it happened.
After Max, the doctors told me to wait two years before getting pregnant again. Then after seeing the shocked look on my face, they told me if I could wait a year that would be best. So we both had it in our minds that come this Christmas time, we would finally start trying. This decision was confirmed shortly after Aaron started his new job and insurance didn't start for 90 days (this November). However, someone else had different plans and here we are today. We are so excited and nervous at the same time. Most people feel comfortable that everything will be okay after 12 weeks, for me I wont feel comfortable till after 24 weeks and even at that, until this baby comes in May.
Since we weren't expecting to get pregnant, I was not keeping track of my cycles so we're not 100% sure how far along I am but based on our educated guess, we are looking at mid-late May. Yea! So excited for a nice spring baby!
