On Saturday night, we braved the cold to go to the BYU vs. San Jose State football game with Tawna, Tim, Amber, Casey and my parents. It didn't start until 8:15 p.m., the temperature was in the low 40's, we had two tired children and we were literally one row from the top of the stadium (and Lavell Edwards Stadium is pretty darn big)...sounds like a recipe for disaster right?
We didn't think we would make it through the whole game but we did and had a great time. Abby fell asleep and Chloe sat on Tawna's lap the whole time. At one point we thought Chloe was falling asleep because she looked totally zoned out, but it turns out she was just looking for Cosmo (BYU's mascot). When she finally found him, she gave Tawna his play-by-play for the rest of the game.
We won the game, which made it even more fun. We finally got home and put teh kids in bed at midnight! I know, we're just fabulous parents. =)
