Tawna's Visit

My sister Tawna flew in almost 2 weeks ago from Ohio and so I thought I would catch up on what we have been doing the past few weeks. The first Saturday she was here, we had a craft day. We had every intention of scrap booking, making necklaces, bows and playing a few games. As it turned out, however, we only had time to make part of our necklaces and that was about it. Here is a finished picture of the cute bows that I made for Chloe (not that she will keep any of them in, but still).

That night we met up with Aaron for dinner and took Chloe to feed the ducks. This was the first time that she really got involved with the ducks and was not scared of them. Whenever she would see one, she would chase after it and try to feed it. She had a blast and it was so much fun to see her just running around outside...it has been a long Utah winter. Ever since Spring has hit, all she has wanted to do is play outside and run around barefoot in the grass.

To make Tawna's trip even better, Aaron, Chloe and I all got sick and had to take some time off work. Even though I had already had to take 2 sick days, I took an extra day off and Tawna and I went shopping and finished our crafts.

It was so much fun to see Tawna and Chloe is already missing her.

Tawna, we can't wait to see you again in August...keep us posted on what you're up to Love ya!

Daylight Saving Time

Fall back, spring forward...yep we all know the saying that helps us remember what we are supposed to do during Daylight Saving Time. However, if you have no idea when the day is, the saying will do nothing for you. Yep, you guessed it, Aaron and I totally had no clue that Sunday was the start of Daylight Saving Time and had we not received a phone call from Aaron's parents at 7:44 (or actually 8:44) we would have been really late for church at 9:30...and on the day Aaron was being sustained in his new calling as Sunday School President, too! That wouldn't have looked so good. So, thanks Bob and Barbara Ann!

No Kisses!

Lately, when Chloe doesn't want us to put something in her mouth (i.e. her toothbrush or food) she will cover her mouth and run away. She thinks it is pretty funny, but she especially thinks it is funny when she does it while we are trying to give her a kiss! Now that's got to make a mom feel good. Her child running away with her mouth covered so they won't have to get a kiss =).
