June 26th, 2014- Splash pad with Rickards

It was a nice day so I though we would get together with Tara’s kids and take them to the Alpine Splash pad. We had never gone before and it was right down the street from their house, so we picked them up and headed out for some splash pad fun.  It is great because Ashlyn and Paige are the same ages as Chloe and Abby. The girls had a fun time playing together.

June, 16th 2014- Goofing around at the park

We had a free afternoon and so we rode out bikes over to the school to go play at the playground.  Chloe found a creative way to do the monkey bars and we had to take some pictures to show daddy when he got home from work.

June 13th, 2014- Cinderella

With our pass of all passes, we were able to get free tickets to go see Cinderella at the Scera outdoor theater.  It was cute and the songs were fun, but the girls were wondering why it wasn't like Disney’s Cinderella.  However, I did catch the girls singing the songs around the house a few weeks after we saw it.  Aaron was a trooper and didn't complain too much about being there ;).

June 7th, 2014- Sleeping Sisters

I walked in to check on the girls before I went to bed and this is what I found- both of them snuggled up in Abby's crib.  I love how much our girls love each other.

June 6th, 2014- National Doughnut Day

Did you know that there is a National Doughnut Day?  Well there is and Krispy Kreme gives out a free doughnut to everyone that comes in on that day. Not being one to pass up free doughnuts, we called the Cummings and met them for doughnuts.  The line was super long but we didn’t mind waiting, especially when we got to the part where we could watch the doughnuts being made.

June 3rd, 2014- Chloe's surgery

For a couple of years, Chloe’s dentist told us that she was going to need a little surgery called a frenectomy.  By doing this, it makes it so when her adult teeth come in there wont be such a big gap.  She was a trooper and did an awesome job during the procedure.  Granted the laughing gas helped =).  Here’s hoping it works!

May 22, 2014- Awards Assembly

Chloe got a special award today in school.  It was for academic achievement and she was the only one in her class that got it. She got to go up in front of the whole school during an assembly to receive it and have everyone clap for her. I am so proud of her and for what a good student she is.

After the assembly, we headed up to Thanksgiving point to check out the new Natural Curiosity Museum.  It was amazing! There are so many things for the kids to explore, climb, build, etc.  The only downside of the day was that this was the last time we got to hang out with our best buds because they were moving to Arizona later on that week.  We will miss them, but plan to stay in touch.

May 20th, 2014- Memorial Day

Before we headed out for our annual Moab trip, we stopped by Max’s grave to drop off some flowers. I love being able to stop by his grave and have that time with the girls to remind them of him and talk about where he is now and how we will be a family forever.

May 16th, 2014- School Carnival

At the end of each school year, Chloe’s school puts on a carnival. This was our first year attending and we all had a great time. There was a train ride, face painting, hair spraying, bouncy houses and tons of games to play.  It was also fun because the girls were able to see their friends there as well as grandma and grandpa.

May 10th, 2014- Mothers Day

I had a wonderful mothers day and got to spend it with my girls. I love being a mother and wouldn't trade it for the world.   Abby wanted to get me a doughnut for her present (and I wasn't about to say no to that).  The girls and Aaron also got me some new clothes.

May 3rd, 2014- Karen's Wedding

I was able to attend my cousin Karen’s wedding at the Sacramento temple.  It was a beautiful day and she was a beautiful bride.  I always love going to sealing’s and listening to what the sealer has to say to the couple because it is always different.  I also love listening to the covenants that they are making because it reminds me that I made the same ones to Aaron.  I am so grateful for temples and that because of them we can be sealed as families for all eternity.

May 2, 2014- Fairy tale Town

Since my parents had an empty back seat and it was so close to the end of the school year, we decided to take a road trip to California for my cousins wedding.  We had one free day before all the festivities happened and I wanted to take the girls to Fairy Tale Town.  It was one of my favorite places as a kid and I knew the girls would love it.  We also convinced my cousin Nichole and her cute family to come with us.

It was a perfect day and the girls loved every minute of it. I couldn’t tell you what their favorite part of the park was because they had a blast on everything!

Afterwards, we went over to my Aunt Debbie’s house for some swimming and fresh lemonade from her tree.  Abby loved picking and eating the lemons. Chloe was having a great time until a cat came too close to her and she got scared.  Can you tell how excited she was in this picture =)

April 19th 2014- Easter Egg Hunt with Grandpa Ron

There was a local Easter egg hunt going on the Saturday before Easter so we thought we would check it out.  We invited my Dad to come with us as well cause we always love having grandparents around. To be perfectly honest, the real reason we went was because in some of the eggs were money and there was an adult egg hunt with one egg containing up to $500. We didn’t get any big jackpots, but the kids were still happy with just getting candy.
