Happy St. Patty's Day!

Let's be honest, I don't do much for St. Patrick's day!  In the past I have made green eggs and green pancakes but this year I totally spaced it. I did however make a mint ice cream pie that was pretty yummy and green.  That being said, I always have to get a picture of the girls in their green!

Chloe's 6!

I can't believe that Chloe is already six!  It has been so much fun watching her and her personality grow.
Since her birthday was on a Thursday, I got to bring treats into her class. Chloe wanted mint Oreo's and she wanted everyone to be able to have two each.  As the class was eating their cookies, they took turns raising their hands and giving Chloe compliments.  It was so sweet to hear all her little friends tell her sweet things.  Abby even got up and sang Happy Birthday to Chloe in front of the whole class.  I wish I would have gotten my phone out and recorded it because it was the sweetest thing.

For her birthday this year, she got to have a friend party, so as soon as school was over, we grabbed all our stuff and headed over to the Nickel City for her party. Nickel city is a giant arcade building where all the games only cost a nickle! After all was said and done, we ended up with 12 of Chloe's friends attending her party. I gave them all a bag of nickels and they went to town.  I was able to have the party on Chloe's actual birthday and we went early enough that we practically had the place to ourselves. All the kids got tons of tickets that they were able to turn in for prizes at the end of the party. It was so fun watching Chloe play with all her friends and I think everyone had a great time.

After the party, Bentley and Vienna came over to play for awhile and it made for a great afternoon. Then before we knew it, it was time for dinner. Chloe got to choose wherever she wanted to go for her birthday dinner, and where did she choose? Chick-fil-A!  We invited the Cummings to come with us and after we came back for presents and cinnamon rolls. Why cinnamon rolls? Because, I had already made one cake that day and I wasn't about to make another!   It was a busy, fun filled day and Chloe got tons of presents!  She was one happy girl!

Annual Check-ups

I took the girls in for their annual check-up last week and here is what we found

Chloe
Height: 42.25 in.  6th percentile
Weight: 34 lbs  1st percentile
BMI: 13.46   5th percentile

Chloe has only gained a total of 3 pounds from last year and grew 3 inches.  She is small, but like I always say "it's better to be small and a girl, than small and a boy."  At age 6, Chloe loves all things art.  Give her anything relating to office supplies- crayons, notepads, markers, paint, stickers, etc- she is in heaven.  Chloe is doing excellent in school and she has tons of friends that she has made.  I love going to pick her up from school hand having all her friends tell her bye and see you tomorrow.  It is just too cute.  Chloe is also a great big sister. Abby and her play so good together and they are just the best of friends (well, most of the time).

Abby
Height:v 37.9in  67th percentile
Weight: 28.8 lbs   27th percentile
BMI:  14.13   6th percentile

Abby is our crazy child.  She loves to run around and has yet to master her inside voice.  Abby also loves to sing and dance.  However, in order to dance, she must be in her dress-up clothes. A princess only dances in dresses- not jeans and a t-shirt.  She has some good moves on her as well!  Sometimes, Abby and I will have our conversations in song because singing is much more fun than just talking =).  Abby also has lots of friends and loves to play with everyone.  It doesn't matter how young or old the child is- she will play great with them.
